I'm considering traveling but I'd like to do my research before diving in. What's the average salary of travel PT? Have you ever been out of work or had there been times they can't find a suitable assignment for you?

Hello Mike, I work for Cirrus Medical Staffing. We specialize in travel healthcare staffing. Please contact me twelch@cirrusmedicalstaffing.com for more specific information regarding your career decision. Generally speaking the pay is above average and it includes your housing and travel expenses, plus we offer 401K matching and health insurance with BlueCross BlueShield. Usually there is little to no down time between assignments and plenty of positions available dependent on your destination choice. I’ll be glad to help you with any other questions you have. Taylor

Hello Mike,
Being a traveler has several perks-great pay, flexibility and an opportunity to see new places. As a traveler you are entitled to perks such as tax free money, which means a portion of your paycheck is tax free! PT Solutions also provides housing, CEU reimbursement, IRA and holiday pay.
Time between assignments is generally not longer than 2 weeks. In fact, if you are flexible as far as travel location and setting we can offer a placement guarantee-if we can't place you within 2 weeks you still get paid.
I would love to speak with you about your interest and see if we can be of help.
Please feel free to call me-

I've familiar with Cirrus Medical Staffing as well - they're a great company to work with.

I would jump on www.medtravelerclub.com. They have travel companies on there that have all been reviewed and discussed by therapists only.
